Plant details
Fallgold' makes an eye-catching addition to desserts as the fruit is golden yellow. It was found by chance in a nursery bed of 'Autumn Bliss' and bears much in common with this popular autumn fruiting variety. It is sometimes sold under the name 'Allgold'. The fruit are excellent fresh or frozen. As with all autumn fruiting raspberries, all of the canes should be cut back to ground level in late winter. For the biggest crops, mulch around the plants each year with well-rotted manure and tie the canes on to horizontal support wires.
