Scabiosa 'Butterfly Blue' produces huge numbers of purple-blue pincushion-like flowers from July to September. This long-flowering scabious is ideal for a well-drained rock garden or using in a summr container display. Its informal appearance also makes this plant perfect for cottage gardens and wildlife borders. As its name suggests, Scabiosa 'Butterfly Blue' is highly attractive to butterflies and bees.

Grow in moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering. A sterile hybrid, Scabiosa 'Butterfly Blue' wll not self-seed.

I have this beautiful little plant in my garden it's October and it's still got loads of flowers on. I dead head regularly apart from that it looks after it's self. I will be buying some more in different colours next year.
