Plant details
Scaevola is a relative newcomer in the garden, and has proved very successful as a basket and container annual for summer bedding. It is semi-tropical, from Australia, and thrives in warm sunny conditions, although it will also tolerate some shade, in pots or as edging to beds and borders. Occasional feeding in summer enhances the display of the fascinating one-sided blooms, with all five petals clustering in the lower half of the pale-throated flower.
