A cross between heucheras and tiarellas, heucherellas have brightly coloured foliage. They thrive in shade and make great groundcover plants, and some have a trailing habit and can be grown in hanging baskets. While plants are mainly grown for their foliage, inconspicuous flowers in summer add to their charm.

Heucherella ‘Brass Lantern’ is semi-evergreen and has golden leaves which become chocolate brown in winter. White flower appear in early summer. For best results, remove faded leaves and deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering.
