Plant details

This low-growing perennial is perfect for gravel gardens or the front of the border. It has purple-green leaves, which are complemented by star-shaped, ruby-red flowers from mid-summer to early autumn. This sedum is ideal for softening the front of a sunny border. The flowers are a valuable nectar source for butterflies and bees. The Royal Horticultural Society has give it its prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM) in recognition of its outstanding excellence.
