Plant details

This spreading little deciduous perennial, has very fetching leaves. They are like succulent, round buttons, with a wonderful glaucous blue colour, marbled with creamy gold. Flat-topped flower-heads, made up of tiny, star-shaped pink flowers, appear in late summer. It can be grown in an alpine house, or as a houseplant. It also looks wonderful planted out in patio containers over the summer.
