Salad potatoes have grown in popularity in recent years, thanks to their delicious flavour and waxy texture. 'Belle de Fontenay' is one of Pippa Greenwood's favourite varieties. It is an early variety that produces small, smooth, kidney-shaped potatoes that have creamy yellow flesh. It stores well so you can enjoy eating it for months.

I have 8 jersey potato plants, they were about to flower at the end of July but never flowered, instead all the stalks have died! Should I dig them up to use or just dispose of them?
