Foremost' is one of Pippa Greenwood's favourite first early potatoes. It is an excellent variety whose tubers have firm white flesh with a very good flavour. It is great as a boiled new potato and in salads. Despite being so tasty, luckily for us slugs seem to ignore it. The Royal Horticultural Society have given it their prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
