This is a deciduous, spreading shrub with arching branches. Small, fairly rounded, dark green leaves set off profuse, dense clusters of small, white flowers in early summer. A quick grower, it will rapidly make a good-sized bush. This shrub prefers full sun in moist, well-drained soil. The Royal Horticultural Society have given it their prestigious Award of Garden Merit.
