Plant details
This is a striking, slow-growing yew which naturally makes a good shape without any clipping or trimming. It forms a tall upright growing tree with a conical habit. This conifer makes a good specimen plant, and can be used to add height and winter structure to the garden. It is one of the best garden yews, as it will take many years to outgrow its position. To propagate, take cuttings in late summer and early autumn. Plants are quite tough and will grow in any well-drained soil.
