Plant details

It is not always appreciated that most verbenas are perennial, and almost any example from a bedding mixture can be kept over winter to provide numerous cuttings in the spring. The new generations of cascading basket verbenas must be grown in this way. 'Pink Parfait' is a popular example, notable both for its delicious scent and its huge heads of large blooms which are light rose-pink in the centre of the cluster, softening to pinkish white at the edge to give a delicate and fascinating two-toned effect.
