. Also encourage more birds, frogs and toads into your garden, which prey on millipedes. pansy2's idea of keeping chickens for a couple of years is a great idea, and before planting you could dig the area thoroughly and rermove any you find.Good luck

and if you wait for the perfect moment to pick fruit then the birds will have them early one morning..at the first sign of readiness pick and eat!!!so next year with a bit of feed and care you will have lots of new plants and lots of 2yr old plants ready
