I have noticed that all new shoots are coming up from my tulips, crocus and Daffodills, then I looked again and the birds have dug them up? do I need to put neeting around them to stop the birds. Regards Ann Kennedy

The slugs are coming up the tree across a metal bar then down to the bird feeder 4 or 5 each night why do they like the wild bird seed? Can put salt down but thats not nice . slugs will eat  anything that's not moving( and also rats and mice
