Hi has anyone in the Bristol area ever bought a bulk order of compost.? I am always making trips to the garden centre to buy bags . I'm sure there must be a cheaper way but I have nowhere for a loose delivery but could store bags,. Thanks

I opened another bag today and again its full of twigs .This used to be good compost not liking it at all. Should I complain about it.       certainly scotkat if you pay for compost it should be nice and crumbley not twigs that havent broken down

Can I put flour into my compost? Hi Maureen, yes but mix it in well othewise it may take a long time to rot down.  Large amounts may attract vermin too, so I wouldn't add more than a pound or so in one go. Maureen - why would you want to? me too
