to get Jeyes already mix and came home with a fern.  I am spending more money on the garden than i spend on myself, not to mention the money spent on the birds. I do agree with EvergreenQueen, somewhat, I preffer going to a GC but as I don't have a car

When I first started gardening I looked at the brightest, brashest, loudest flowers. Then I began to appreciate foliage....Coloured, variegated, etc., ferns, conifers ( the dwarf or choicer ones) Next it was for subtlety ....complementary colours


Tropical garden

too. Cordylines do well in their garden. Bamboo isnt realy a tropical plant but creates a tropical look and can handle cold weather. Ferns another tropical looking plant that can handle colder weather & of course Hostas.  Bananas Musa species Musa

all summer up to frosts. I usually only grow the white one, en masse wherever I have space. They contrast well with other plants. Oh yes, and the foliage is a pretty fern like leaf. You can't beat them, and they come in good colours too. Go for it


Will this work for a new part lawn?
