What a nice show. I think the garden has enjoyed the rain this year more than the gardener has. My dahlias are looking good and a lavatera hasn't stopped flowering since June.

I have some hellebores in a south facing bed of clay.  Normally this is baked solid in the summer but with this wet weather could it have caused the hellebores to flower out of season?  The have had new flowers in amidst the seed heads all summer....
