Hi, We've scattered a packet of mixed seeds on a patch of garden deisgned to attract insects and this flower has grown.  We have no idea what it is.  The plants have got about 2ft high in places.  The leaves and the steam are hairy and these flowers

Now that my daffodils have finished flowering my garden looks very untidy have I got to wait till leaves turn brown before doing anything? Hopefully you've cut all the flowerheads off. Generally the advice is to let the leaves die down naturally

Is there any point in leaving my maincrop onions in as they have started to flower? I have picked off the flowers but wonder if they will get any bigger. Some are no larger than when they went in! I could use the space for something else
