Geum rivale 'Leonard's Variety'
into the summer or longer.  Can anyone advise me if they are likely to come into flower again or if my neglect (ie letting seeds come on the flower heads) now means that that's flowering over for this year?  I've never had Geums before and absolutely love them by yarrow2

Aphids on seedlings
I am raising some Geums from seed - they are currently about 3" tall and are in 3" pots on a windowsill.  Somehow they have got greenfly.  I pick the greenfly off every day and squash them, but they come back very fast.  Is there anything else I can by Laura Corin

NNE facing and clay soil- help!
Yes, clay soil and NNE facing... Many plants do well: helebores, ferns, geranium, phlox, globe thistle, euphorbia; some do okay: astrantia, roses, geums. I need some suggestions. Have you grown plants successfully in similar conditions? If it helps by catnip

what to plant
? I have various clumps of Alliums that have wandered about themselves. They are growing through clumps of Monarda, a Hardy Fuchsia, Geums, Dlephiniums and Echinacea, so when they begin to look tatty I snip them off just above the other plant. Thanks by Aliesh
