What is this brown leaved plant with yellow flower
Hello, does anyone know what this perennial plant is please?  It forms a clump similar to Phlox and has chocolate coloured deep veined leaves with very delicate yellow flowers.  Many thanks. Is it Lysimachia? Not sure it's lysimachia. I have by janet2802

Mystery plants...
flowering cherry 2 currant bush 3 a lysimachia, ? which one 4 a lily ? martagon. It looks like a martagon lily but I don't know lilies other than that. Maybe they all look the same at that stage Great- thank you both for the response.  Excited to have a by myfirstgarden

Identification required please
think the last one may be Lysimachia 'Firecracker' Pleased to say 2nd one not Enchanter's nightshade. I know that one TOO well, but don't know this one, sorry. 3rd could be that little Euphorbia cyparissias, the one that has a cultivar 'Fen Ruby' 1 looks by Heather Michaels

Hanging/trailing plants in full shade - any advice?

? Can anyone recommend suitable plants, please? water mint,a lovely plant but can take over. Lysimachia nummularia, small, yellow flowers, has a yellow leafed variety as well but i like the green better Leslie -do you want something beside the water or a by Leslie Longstaff

' and possibly these young shoots are lysimachia. If it was me I'd wait and see what it turns into. If it's a thug you can still dig it up and cut of any seed heads. It might have lovely flowers, in which case it would be a shame to throw it out. Maybe you could by Luubear

Invasive plants to avoid
. Euphorbia griffithi, lysimachia firecracker , houttynia chameleon and Japanese anemones are similar. Anybody else had such "ground cover" plants to warn us about? If suspicious about new plants I check root systems in pots looking for signs of being by christopher2

planting a raised flower bed
. Thinking of adding Lysimachia, Helleborus, black grass...any other ideas? Would a red palmate acer I already have in a pot be ok to share a bed with other plants? What about good climbers as a backdrop on the trellis/fence? Nothing too vigorous (I had by ilovemontydon

when to take fuschia cuttings
lysimachia nummularia from my local garden centre four weeks ago - 75p each - and two weeks later took three cuttings from each. They have all rooted and the parent plants are now bigger than ever and ready for some more cuttings.  You can do the same by tony ralph
