Talkback: Growing apples on the allotment
was given a dwarfed bramley apple tree for my birthday in May, it has 3 lovely apples on ,almost ripe but has suddenly burst into blossom again , any ideas? one of my friends on the burney lane allotment has apple trees but it got a horrible by kaycurtis

Allotment Potato Blight
We have 48 allotments on our site here in Anglesey, and we were hit severly this year with blight. What advice would you give for growing potatoes in 2013, yes we know about rotation etc, we are organic, so limited to soil treatment, please advise by HomemanLL

i have an allotment and it is my first year ther. ther are four more allotment ther.i am ther most of the year by my self. the rest of them only cume once a week. sume weeks not at all ther is a pollytunel 30ft long. i am the only one to youse by Malf

my 1st allotment!
just got a new allotment. what can i do? dig it and cover with clear plastic to warm up the soil, if you have compost or well rotted manure spread this but not where you intend to grow carrotts and parsnips etc.Good luck dont sicken yourself by Joe the Gardener

water logged allotment
hi took over an allotment in augustĀ and it is very waterlogged its never been worked for 20 years its full of bricks wood and old pipes etc.Plus i have been walking on garden i know hasnt helped.Do you think im having the water problems because by shaunandnicola

Butternut squash have never done well on my allotment, so I tried one called Cobnut last year.It gave a really good crop; slightly fatter shape--more flesh less seedy bit. Kept quite well too. Both my mimosa trees are shedding their leaves down by sarahs pond life

allotment great price i think 24 pound for a year if i start chitting potatoes now and plant them in 2 weeks what sort of potatoes could i expect by end of september and any advice aswell are have planted spud before ,but this time are have got a alloment by Middle Man
