Celeriac info
Cooked first Celeriac last crimbo with garlic,chillie and cream mmm , now hooked on this ugly veg . Since then Celeriac price risen by about 50p ! So anyway just got an allotment this year and i fancy growing some from seed ,is it too late? any tips by man in a shed

Enormous Gooseberry Brush
Morning all,  first post on here, so please be gentle.  9 days ago we took over an overgrown allotment and have inherited a huge gooseberry bush, probably 5ft high.  Very overgrown with bindweed, stray raspberries, couch grass and I am sure by Mawbs

Flooding
Just been to my allotment which is beside the Thames at Lechlade & it's under 1' of water. When the water recedes will veg such as parsnips, celeriac etc. be edible? Also will fruit survive? I have raspberries, strawberries, currants & rhubarb (not by lewly2

Mystery weed/grass
Hi all I wonder if anyone can help with identifying a weed that my Dad has in his allotment (in fact many of the allotments in that area do)? It grows about 15 inches tall, and has white flowers. The flowers almost look like they could be a grass by maxijam

White spirit spillage
I have just taken on an allotment, which is in a real mess. I was doing some digging when my fork hit something.  I lifted it up and found I'd hit a container of white spirit, which has now spilled on the soil. My questions are many! is that area by meandmyallotmentdotcom
