Daffodils and Tulips - what to do as they fade?
Hello there, as an amateur gardener living in a basement flat with a patio/courtyard I am limited for choice with planting. I planted some bulbs in February and they have flowered beautifully mostly getting sun on top of my shed!   Now by LeeSW1

Winter flowering violas
I bought 4 potted violas from my local garden centre in late autumn and they have flowered all winter and given me much pleasure. I kept them in their original pots and put them on the patio. They are now looking rather sad. They are still flowering by rubber

Solanum Crispum
I have a beautiful solanum which is 3 years old. This is my 2nd (left the last one behind when I moved). Every summer I snip off the spent flowers to discourage berry growth and to encourage more flowers...Is this the right thing to do though by rosesgrowonyou

Seeds & cuttings on a windowsill

Easy care plants
for butterflies are easy and how about scabious which children find very pretty (little pincushion flowers) and are great for bees and butterflies too. My girls loved dianthus which I had in a big clump beside the path and they called it the hedgehog! Very tactile by The Artist

Flower in the garden...
around to see it. Now it is an annual event, usually there are about 30 of these amazing flowers. The label has long since been lost, it came from my wonderful local GC; Moat Road Nursery. The plant is only 1 metre sq. and needs virtually no care. I agree by bunnysgarden
