Poa, meadow grass
You haven't said what the problem is. My lawn is covered in lime green grassy patches which have grass flowers sprouting from them. I have checked on google and the problem looks as if it is Poa or Meadow grass. I can't see any chemical treatments by Robin3

Clematis through a shrub?
when you want to enjoy the flowers. Because they only have one season of growth, they find it hard to dominate other plants. There is always a risk with climbers that they might smother the rest of the garden! Some lovely annual / tender climbers by pansy2

. Like florists cyclamen you can keep them green all year round if you want. I love these plants, but have never been able to get them to flower again.    I have had lots of new leaves, but no flowers.     Now I treat them like an annual - after all by mary jones

Primula
later this summer. They are usually treated like annuals and discarde because people want to make room for summer bedding. I cut the spent flowers off my Primulas and they just keep going you can also split them in the Autumn to increase your stock by Caz8
