My drive
I have a gravel drive and no flower beds directly on to it, It's looks messy as it's always got grass and weeds growing through the gravel and modern weed killers don't seem to work for very long, is there a weed killer on the market that will do by c.cross

Using vinegar to kill weeds
My sister-in-law needs to regain control over her garden and she has a lot of annual and perennial weeds growing in the beds. She doesnt want to use chemical weedkillers because of the wildlife in her garden (badgers and foxes). Ive researched by Tim Burr

weedy neglected patch of a town garden
MARIE   Maybe spray the weeds and sow annuals. Give you loads of colour this summer and time to consider what you might do later. How big is the pear tree?  That'll give us a bit of an idea about how big the roots are  TA VERDUN   COULD BE THE BEST by Dusty bluebells

compost heap out of control
and transfer all the good stuff and ditch the rubbish. any ideas please Depends on the weeds. Annual weeds are fine but the compost heap would need to reach a high temperature to kill off perennial weeds and that just isn't practical for the average gardener by alexthewinelady

Grape hyacinths
How do I get rid of Grape Hyacinths? I have dug so many up but the little seedling bulbs keep coming up like grass, should I weed killer them? you could try digging out the soil and sieving it back the little bulbs should then be easy to find by crysta

Soil disposal
are removed but I would trench it all in. Grass, etc., upside own in bottom of the trench covering rest of weeds. Grow annuals, etc., for first year and then plan what you want to do with the land year after. Digging over ground like this is very by Jo Stephenson

My 1st allotment
to dispose of it. Annual grass and weeds can be put on the compost heap but avoid things like bindweed.  Avoid any nasty ones with seed heads. One chap on our allotment puts the more vigorous weeds in a black plastic bag and leaves them to rot for a year by richard ellis
