or is weed control quite easy with aconites? No trouble with weeds as they are in bloom before the annual weeds show and perennials should be dug out before you plant them. They do seem to like the same conditions as snowdrops. I see one of these in our by Anonymous

need help
'll need to start with plugs or even larger plants. If you're starting from scratch you can sow a wildflower mix to suit your soil after removing perennial weeds Poppies, cornflowers, corncockle etc are cornfield flowers (or weeds if you're a farmer by denise butcher

How long after lawn feed and weed killer can I plant things?
A week ago we sprinkled granular lawn feed and weed killer all over the lawn (most of the garden), inculding areas down the edges that I had planned to tuen into flower beds. Do I need to wait before doing this now? I've got loads of stuff to plant by PaperFlowers

That new roundup gel
. Another factor to consider is the size and type of weed. Larger perennial weeds with deeper roots will take longer than small annuals. Another point to note is that Roundup gel doesn't include that fast acting formula that is in the ready to spray Roundup by Tootles

sycamore seeds
trees on my plot. They are nowt more than 40' weeds. They seed in every border. I have a 20' field sycamore on the edge of my rose garden and the only cure is to prune it annually, cutting all the seeds off before they have ripened. Sycamore seedlings by justin stefanyszyn
