Cinara Picea
Hi , I have an infestation of (I've just found out the name)  Cinara Picea on my spruce tree they are multiplying by the day. They look like very small beetles but are in fact Aphids . Has anybody any ideas on the best way to get rid of them ,they by James W

Diseased conifer
I have five corkscrew shaped conifers, all in various places in my garden. All of them to a degree have dry dead patches from the middle to the top. Can any body suggest what is wrong? They may have conifer aphid. Since there is no issue by Robin3

Parsnip Disaster
This year about four weeks after my parsnips germinated, I noticed that many of them were wilting and turning yellow. On pulling one up I found it was covered in what looked like brown aphids or some sort of lice. I lost over three quarters by Stone Butterfly

Help with blackcurrant plant..
Have you tried any remedies at all? I got a pray bottle and filled it up with water and washing up liquid but it still diden't work If you have a bad infestation get a propriety aphid killer that is suitable for using on food crops-that will see by alex_wonga

Lupins destroyed by greenfly
of lupin aphids....from USA I think. Bigger than usual and they decimated my plants. I'm not too keen on preemptive sprays but it's advisable with lupins. Early in spring spray with systemic insecticide and again before flower spikes appear. Lupins by Lunarz

Help needed
noticed some ants running up and down the trunk today. Many Thanks Debbie If the webs are at the tips, it could be red spider mite, which is difficult to deal with.  The ants running up and down the trunk indicate there are aphids - ants feed off by Deblou2

of aphid. Spray with any insecticide, or add a drop of washing-up liquid to water and spray with that. If the sections look dead once the insects have gone then yes, I would prune them off. Thank you I will give that a try. I think the use of washing up by Donna2

Dahlia Giving up the Ghost
.  One plant had aphids but the others were all thoroughly checked out and appear to be aphid-less. Some are growing in modules and some in 3" pots; some of each have been affected but not all the ones that are sickly were in the same greenhouse.  I by Botticelliwoman

What is on this apple tree?
Can anyone help please?  I work in a garden where there is a large old and tall crab apple tree that has lots of white wolly bits all over it.  I think this is woolly aphid and wonder how I can get rid of it organically or will I have to use by pipsqueak2

Cherry Tree Bugs- Please Help!
