Need help identifying this tree
fruit bearing tree?     I would say crab apple Looks like a Malus sp. An apple tree. Sorry I cannot tell if it is a crab apple or domestic eating apple from the flowers. Thank you for the replies. My main enquiry was whether it actually bore fruit by John Craig2

I have an apple tree in my garden which has some unwelcome visitors namely ants which are blazing a trail up and down my tree leaving grooves in several places. Is this damaging the tree in any way? Last year I had a bumper crop but this year I can by montyd

Espalier cooking apple
that are spur-fruiting will espalier well.  Howgate Wonder is a particularly good large dual purpose apple.  http://www.ashridgetrees.co.uk/Howgate-Wonder-Apple-Trees that cooks well. I've not grown it as an espalier but I see no reason why it wouldn by RichPettz

No apples?
Have gained orchard of several mature fruit trees. No apples yet on the Spartan tree - does this mean there won't be any or are they just very slow? Thanks Lots of us have either none or hardly any this year.  My trees have around ten between them by norfolkTessa

Which fruit trees for northern lincolnshire
Can anyone advise on which apple, pear, plum and cherry trees grow best in northern Lincolnshire?  The soil is free draining and the area where they will be planted is mostly sunny throughout the day. by Highwayman

Pear tree
Hi My pear tree did not have any fruits last year was it due to whole tree leaves were covers in oranage spots? If so what treatment i can do to assist the tree to be healty again? Also my apple tree did nor bear any fruits either last year.  The by preksha patel

NO APPLES

Fruit trees
