Tulip & Narcissus bulbs
Someone told me that it's possible to plant spring flowerin bulbs in aquatic pots and plant them in the Autumn then lift them out after flowering, leave them in a quiet corner to die down then repeat the process again.  Is this right or was someone by tattianna

Buying Pond Plants - which is best?
are much cheaper but how do I give them the best start? £7 a go is about twice what I'd expect to pay - my local aquatic centre sells most of them at £3.49. Pond plants often go short of iron, particularly if they're submerged and not potted into the right by HyppyByker

Is glyphosate safe?
studies in several countries have shown that it does leach out of soil into nearby water courses and this can affect aquatic plants and thus habitats.  Great care must be taken when using it near water courses. Glyphosate is licensed for use in water by gardeninggenes

've never found the buttercups to be a problem. I don't think I've ever noticed buttercups trying to colonise the pond. Buttercups like damp conditions, but they are not aquatic plants.I'm wondering how a buttercup would operate in water. Does it float by Lynda 5

waste fish tank water
, as plants filter out nutrients in fish waste from the water, returning clean water to the fish. I have not tried it myself but I am sure that online search and visits to aquatic/hydroponic sites near you would provide you with more precise information by paulchilds
