What is your kind of garden?
is full of tomatoes, cucumbers,chillies and hopefully melons. I have a small wildlife pond which keeps the cats amused with all the frogs in it. At the friont of the house we have quite a large drive and as we only have a small car it is now getting by Gardening Grandma

gonna do a pond for them? how can i attract frogs without a pond,do i need a pond if so could i put a water pump in the corner just moving the water about slowly will that work....mr green thumb how can i make them sleep over the winter can they smell by sarahs pondlife...

low roof covered bird table, as they do with food I put on the ground for blackbirds etc. JAG - I don't think we're worrying too much. By feeding the birds we are attracting large numbers of them to our gardens - very small spaces compared to woodland by kater1

Redesign of garden
. But it would be nice for him to sit and have his dinner on a patio full of plants and wildlife that you have created.  I would scrap grass altogether except for a mini meadow full of native flowers, have birdbaths and feeders as the birds must love your trees by Kate Bradbury

The daftest thing you've done in your garden
fairly attractive (single) plant which I thought the previous owner had grown, so left it to see what it was.  Lovely tall purple flower spikes followed so I collected seed and spread it around a bit. I've been pulling-up examples of my self by KEF

apond ans surrounded by arable fields and pasture so rats a plenty but they're clean and rather attractive. I do take exception and put poison down when they scoff seeds and seedlings and other goodies in the greenhouse or invade the stores of bird by catrincardiff

Keeping Chickens
of your garden.  Would leycesteria formosa (pheasant berry) grow there?  It grows tall enough that the hens can't jump up to eat it all, and it has attractive flowers and berries which they love.  The only things that have survived in my hens' permanent by David K
