Planting aubretia in cracks in sleepers
I would like to plant some
aubretia
in some deep cracks in some retaining railway sleepers to spill over the sides. Is it just a matter of filling the cracks with soil and bunging them in? Any tips on maximising the chances of them establishing

I have grown

from seeds and it has come on nicely but it has flowered with very tiny white petals (nothing that you would call a flower).My balcony does not get sun until early evening?? any ideas?
