Can you suggest some pot plants for an east facing small balcony, plants that will require little attention but possibly provide colour and scent? Theres a great range of patio sized Buddleias out there now and they provide colour and great nectar by Rocket60

Keeping on bulbs in containers
Hello! I've tried googling for this question, but can't find anything which quite answers it. I have several grape hyacinth bulbs flowering at the moment in containers on my balcony (and a few indoors who didn't like that at ALL and shot up and went by Domitella

I use broad sticky tape to remove scale insects - more efficient than a thumbnail.Ants farm scale insects, so get rid of the ants and the problem will be reduced. To keep ants off a balcony organically (this may not work in a garden!) stamp on every by spottyleopard
