Potting my bamboo
I'm going to put my bamboo in a pot in the ground as a precaution, incase it gets out of control. I'm going to use one of them big rubber buckets. Do I need to put holes in the base for drainage?? Will the roots grow through the holes? If I don by Bagz

Minimum planter size for black bamboo

How and when to move a large Bamboo
Hi I have a Bamboo approx 7ft tall spread over 1/2 metre in area.  I live on a slight hill and all tall shrubs and trees seem to lean to the forward and to the right.  I have staked as much as possible and this has helped but the Bamboo is still by Debs4

Invasive triffid-like bamboo
A metal fence and a concrete path seperate my greenhouse from an ever advancing bamboo. Sold as a dwarf variety, its cuckoo tendancies soon came to light when the main clump grew approx 6m tall, however I was  taken in by the way it swayed so by Laurel27

Drowning bamboo, how much can they take?
we have an unprecedented depth of water here. One bamboo is already inundated another nearly so and the rain keeps falling. How much of this can they take? One is Phyllostachys 'Vivax', not quite under water. The other I don't know the name of, it by nutcutlet
