netting brassicas
Hi Has anyone have any advice on netting brassicas with veggiemesh Thanks Before we had our new frames my hubby made a frame with sturdy bamboo canes with an empty yoghurt drink pot on top of each then draped the netting over and pegged it down by chicken!

the same ploy with a bamboo last year to try and contain its spread by putting it in a very large pot, and then sinking that in the ground.  Bamboo hasn't liked it at all - think the problem came in the winter and early Spring because didn't feel inclined by Botticelliwoman

bonfires
I have found that the incinerator burning of waste veggy materiel oop t'lotty is missing a chance to improve patches of open areas waiting to be cultivated. I burn old cane prunings, knackered bamboo canes, hedge trimmings, all sorts of stuff, too by peteballan

Cover side of shed
, honeysuckle, variegated ivy, roses, should do it. Or you could be contemporary and plant bamboos (the non-spreading ones) along the side, with touches of colour between them, like allium Purple Sensation. But any of those will hide the shed to some extent by Frozz

Bronze ornaments
I have a large, circular  gravel area in my garden. A few deciduous grasses, a black bamboo in a large barrel, a yucca and a cordyline all add interest - but I'd love a really large (possibly bronze?) structure/animal. I have a birthday coming up by Berkley
