Too much ginger
Hello gardener, last week was our big surprise, when we saw so many wild ginger flowers under the bamboos. This ginger has never been growing by us, but every year new ginger in other places is growing allone. Now, we have a lot to harvest, as well by ThaiGer

pampass grass
it to the compost heap. Took a while to rot down but it got there in the end Lol,  I am growing pampas this year, it was either that or bamboo.  I'm not thinking of attacking my bamboo in that way. The pampas flowered so late the stems broke in the autumn gales by gorby

Metal obelisk or willow wigwam for sweet peas?
.   I would go for metal, too. Don't buy the cheapest that you can find - pay a bit more and they'll last longer. As an interim measure you could use a wigwam of bamboo canes, but you'll need to wrap string or a bit of netting around the wigwam to get by happycottontail

decorative pots
small bamboo (upright and evergreen, but not very original), or perhaps an agave, or a selection of alpines or succulents, or maybe a Zantedecia (can look good in a black pot).Make sure that the pot has a decent drainage hole. Pansy2, I would put a Thuja by pansy2
