Tatton park any good
displays are usually excellent too. Bedding plant displays/gardens from local authorities. Country Living pavillion too for those more interested in foods, pictures, jewelry etc etc. Am on the look out for a soil coloured sunhat! Flower arranging displays by pavery026

Talkback: ...and so to bed
a lovely display of summer bedding plants this year but does anyone know if I can compost them. Will the seeds they've produced just rot down, or will they germinate once the compost is used in my garden? I have 16 baskets full of Bizzie Lizzies by Methuselah

Daffodils
get a display from those in the second bed. And now I know not dry them out, so I really appreciate your comments and advice. Thank you again, I'll replant them as soon as these showers pass over! I think you would be better to move them as soon by Alan 4

Spring Garden
all the old perennials out, only to find my tulip bulbs rotten in their baskets which I planted maybe 2 years ago!  I have heavey clay soil and as this bit of garden is visible from my kitchen window, I'd like a cheerful display from early spring by Snailspace

Plant suggestions please
fortunei (gold), tall white anemones, pyracantha on the fence. The gap in question has lawn at the front, a huge fern to the left, bamboo at the rear, and a raised dry stone bed full of bergenia to the right. The space is probably 3 or 4 feet diameter by auntie betty

Talkback: The ornamental cabbage
of the cabbages against the silver of the cineraria. I started to use ordnary dark-leaved cabbages as infillers for my husband's new beds of dark-leaved perennials some years ago, when I had too many seedlings for the veg patch, and was amazed to see how well by Grannyanne

Help me plant these plant pots
to think about planting it up for a winter display as well? I have geraniums (not the houseplant) in mine. You get lots of nice colours and heights. I have just made a shady small bed at the back of my shed. I ordered plants from Long Acre Plants www by LeadFarmer
