Double planting
for instance, my Oriental Poppy flop got planted with Cosmos last year but I would really like to discover a permanent arrangement with something rising through the Poppy foliage for later summer display.  I really will enjoy this learning curve in my severely by Yvieh

prenial flowers for cutting
I want to try and make a prenial flower bed at my allotment this year, whatare the best varieties for me to start with that have first year flowers thanks Most perennials will flower this year. What controls your choice would be the size and colours by cody smith

Which shrub to plant in this situation...?
thought is -could you put the camellia in a container inside the 'display' pot and then replace it when it's flowered with another one for the summer? There are loads of summer flowering shrubs to pick from- Choisya ternata-glossy green leaves and white by Mrs W

Where to start! Planning new borders, complete garden novice.
deep, edged with sleepers and we are on a chalky soil. I want to plant a mix of thyme and lavander and maybe something else along the lawn in from of them to soften the harsh edges and I want the borders to look like one long display, not 4 boxes but I by Olivedog

Foxgloves suddenly growing up on the edge of my lawn. I dug them up and planted them into the boarders. They look lovely, so now I will be collecting the seeds and getting more plants for free. I had the most wonderful display of roses this year by Sarah, Bournemouth
