I've had problems with my Rosada tomato plants this year, both in the greenhouse and in a raised bed in the veg garden. It's either leaf mould or tomato blight. Anyone else had problems this year - is it because of the wet summer??? I would by petehaskell

Indoor and outdoor plants
replies. How does a plant become hardy in the first place? All plants are hardy to a certain extent if you travel abroad you will see what we would class as unlikely plants for bedding schemes-have seen poinsettias in the Canaries used for that effect, So by Cia

Mulching after rain - compacting soil?
We've had continual showers for the last week and are forecast for the same for the next week.  There are a couple of beds that I had intended to mulch but haven't got around to.  I remember reading that you shouldn't walk on beds that are too damp by Laura Corin
