product by Provado designed to treat lawns, but you won't be able to grow food in the ground for at least a season afterwards. You could try planting up with flowers to avoid having empty beds for so long - ornamentals would be unaffected. @simon.. yeah by simon smith

Lupins - victim of slug attack
Hi, I'm a very novice gardener, in fact this is the first summer of having my own garden. I planted a lupin in the raised bed at the back of our garden and it was doing very well until the very wet period we had in May when my garden was invaded by Eelieg

Name that plant!!

Autumn planted onion sets
Hi All Last autumn I planted some onion sets at my allotment. I was wondering if it would be beneficial to rake lightly and carefully between the bulbs and add some growmore or some other fertiliser at this time. Any ideas?     I planted some too by Madeleine51

Reviving dried bedding, lost instructions
'm fascinated by your progress. Which plants did you try? Granny always used to do this with bedding 'geraniums'  (pelargoniums as they are now) - taking them out of the pots, wrapping them in newspaper and keeping them in a cardboard box under the bed by kate1123
