Non-cultivar flowering plants

Needing old mouse or vole nests

Hi, I wish to create a Bumble Bee nest box, but I've read that they seldom get used unless you use mouse or vole nest material as packing inside the flowerpot. Something to do with the smell that queen bumbles are geared for. It's a project I wish by BrummieBen

Hi Im looking to buy a new clematis and would like to buy one to attract the bees and butterflies has anyone any suggestions please Clematis don't produce nectar so any insects visiting are there for the pollen. i'd go for one with small, open by creeps

I try and grow a lot of flowers for bees, and this year I have grown forget me nots and egg plant. I hate seeing front gardens that have been concreted over and no plants at all, doing this doesn't help the wild life at all. We can all do our bit by donutsmrs

I find Dandilions a particular nuisance weed, people say oh! they are good for bees, I personally have never seen a bee near them, in fact the whole country is clogged up with dandilions as year on year left uncontroled they are taking over not only by kaycurtis

- aren't the same (are they?) as the neonicotinoid pesticides which are horrid for the bees population? As I want to use Nematodes but don't want to damage my very bee friendly garden and flowers.... They are not the same. They are a natural by "MrsMay"
