starlight lily
can anyone tell me whats wrong with my lily, leaves turned black and flower buds fell off. It can be caused by excess water, but others may have other ideas, too. If it is just the wet, it'll be OK next year. Lily beetle alert- at 11 o by mcthedad

Talkback: What's nibbling my Lilies?
I wondered if it was one of the many types of Shield Bugs! I live near Newark in Nottinghamshire and I have seen noticed "new" beetles in my garden this year. Regarding the Lily beetle I have killed about a hundred this year and have had to wipe by Sara Miller

in the garden this weekend when I came across a number of Red Lilly Beetle in the compost. The compost was quite fresh quite a distance from my lilly's that are currently dying down. Is it normal to still find Red Lilly Beetle and in compost at this time by Kate, gardenersworld

pests
for each pot, but wonder if i should redo or will it kill the plants?   It's the adult beetles that eat the leaves, and they're not controlled by Provado, only the grubs in the pots are. To stop the leaf eating you'll need to pick off the beetles at night by sile

VIBURNUM TINUS 'EVE PRICE'
I have this plant growing well in a large container and this morning I've noticed leaf damage which I think (judging by internet pics.) is the work of the adult viburnum beetle - don't see any larvae or any other signs of activity.   Should I remove by pinkpeony
