had a quick peep and found a half built nest in a box of begonias When I used to work in the same garden centre we always had a Robins nest and Pied Wagtails nest somewhere in the garden centre  Once there was a Bluetits nest inside a roll of wire by SilverFairy

What can I grow in a greenhouse...
enjoy yourself this year-I absolutely love my greenhouses - I grow tomatoes,peppers,chillies,aubergine ,cucumbers and 7 or 8 kinds of Basil's in the largest greenhouse,pot plants e.g begonias,streptocarpus,gloxinias,Archimedes etc. in what I call the new by Tootles

Sedums 4 poppies 5 Cornflowers 6 foxgloves 7 Nicotinias 8 Daffodils 9 iris 10 Begonias   opps forgot to say why, basically becuae I grow them from seed and they need very little attention and look amazzing.  I have loads of other stuff, I never use by determinedpeterplant

close and appreciate them for what they are - gems! Same goes for Dahlias, and as for Begonias - well, I am well and truly hooked! Keep an open mind, I say!! Muscari is my absolute hate plant. A couple of plants arrived in my garden (birds?) 20 years by SPAM VALLEY

Begonias were the most fruitful plant I had, however I am attempting to make it live longer so I brought indoors, I don't want it to die :(however I believe it's dying, it's growing a sort of white later in its leaves, like fungus, will it die anyway? also by Davidbrito

Plants still in flower
the garden far more than is usual in January.   I have even mown the lawn!   It seems a strange time of year to be dead-heading summer flowers!     However, the frosts over the last few days have put paid to the begonias, marigolds and nasturtiums, so I have by ruth BAILEY

window boxes are a wash out this year
the weather. I've already had their  first show and they are really bushy.   yes Kate I did the same thing in the end - which sort of cancelled out the economising of the seed growing! My garden centre were selling things like begonias usually $3.99 for £1 by grai

Begonia semperfloruns - red,white pink and readily available as plugs to grow on Verbena - many colours readily available as plugs Ageratum - blue dwarf varieties available as plugs  small flowered Petunias - all sorts of colours available as plugs by Whatalottie
