Impatiens
in the conservatory, where they are stil blooming, I bought some New guinea plugs from which I have now got loads of cuttings. I am going to try growing impatiens and begonia from my own seed this year has anybody got tips/ do's and dont's Hiya lyn. Do you take new by Verdun

hanging baskets
hi all I have some surfinias and begonia million kisses and I would like to know how many to plant in 14inch baskets. Wire or wicker ?  I just cram in as many as possible and always use water retaining gel to help them from drying out . The more by potteries phil

Plants for window boxes..
would go for evergreens at all- sounds a bit boring to be looking at the same thing all the time In a few weeks violas/ pansies will be available for a bit of Spring colour In the Summer-spoilt for choice really-impatiens -if available-petunias begonias by sunnyone

in partial shade-begonias and impatiens are good summer bedding in the shade if you just want temporary colour Tradescantia will flower in shade most of summer and is a perennial. Japanese anemone also What about heucheras with different coloured leaves by Novice23

bulbs in pots
with a bit of feeding and maybe some new soil, but it keeps coming back. I was lucky today i bought a packet of 2 aqualegias for £1.75 mckana hybrid  also a pk of double hollyhocks rosea 3 begonia cascade sunray as i had vouchers to get rid of  joyce m by nutcutlet

fence planting
they must be readily available; the problem is finding the right name for them. You could try variations on hanging planters/ plastic wall mounted planters etc. I have seen them richly planted with cascading begonias. It would not suit my garden by clogherhead

weedy neglected patch of a town garden
weeds. Plant month Later. Does the pear tree cast much shade? A lot of annuals prefer to grow in sun. Busy-Lizzies (Impatiens) and bedding begonias are OK with shade. They are quite slow to grow from seed so probably best to buy small plants and plant by Dusty bluebells

Daffodils and Tulips - what to do as they fade?
's wonderful getting such a display for so little effort. Does it take long for the leaves to die back? I believe I can leave these bulbs insitu and they won't rot? I'm hoping to put some Begonias in to fill the empty spaces. Thanks again. Here's another photo by LeeSW1

the new small clematis are called? Swiss Sue. Unwins.co.uk do them. I haven't tried them out myself, only seen them advertised.Filigree, Picardy and Bijou. Hi swisssue,I also like trailing begonias (peaches and cream) sold by most of the online by SwissSue
