Forget me not
Just bought some seed and the packet says it's biennial? Not that it makes any difference I just didn't think it was! Can anyone confirm for me please.  It is a bit of a generalisation but for a plant to flower in spring it really needs to be sown by tattianna

Sweet William
Hello. I am wondering if my sweet William plant is a perennial. I have read that it is biennial and self seeds to produce more plants. My existing plant has been with me for nearly 3 years and is looking really healthy. It has flowered by Nidge

Is it a plant or a weed
is up to you, I love them and so do insects. The bugloss is covered in bees and butterflies when in flower. Then the seeds get eaten by the finches. They're both biennial so if you like them let them seed. by Rushie

Herbs
have a conservatory or greenhouse then put them in their, as annual and biennial herbs usually need warmer weather Thanks Ryan. I'll hold off for a while. I'd hold fire Kayfersmum, most of them are lovers of mild climes.  Besides, there is snow and -5C by Kayfersmum

Are Echinaceas perennial?
Hi - I was just wondering if anyone knows whether Echinaceas are biennial or perennial in the UK?  I have read that they are both, and an internet search seems to imply that it depends on where you are.  I am in Lincolnshire.  I planted some last by Lunarz
