Talkback: Bindweed
Yes - I do agree that bindweed is very pretty in the hedgerows and a nuisance in the garden - but the main problem around here in North Yorkshire is the invasion of Himalayan Balsam. It flowers late in the season so the jury is out on whether by Middle Man

solanum or bindweed
Hi, I planted a solanum in my front garden up against a fence last year along with many other shrubs, I added wires for it to climb but I'm not sure if what I have climbing up the wires is indeed solanum or bindweed,  how would I tell the difference by notgreenfingers2

bindweed, alder, buttercups, ivy
Hi, I've got bindweed, alder, buttercups and ivy growing in different parts of my garden and I can't get to their roots to get rid of them without digging up/killing off other plants I want to keep. I thought about using that gel weedkiller by kish

Help me please
I have recently taken on an allotment plot and unfortunately I have some bindweed underneath my soil and what I can only describe as spaghetti on top of the soil. I need to get rid of this before I can turn over the soil. I have tried glyosulphate by Iain Pickard
