trees!!
Hi, can someone tell me when birds stop nesting in trees? My conifers need lopping badly, many thanks Some birds will keep nesting until August. thanks alina, looks like an autumn job then. by maz7

Mildew
garden where sometimes milk was used on foliage to counteract mildew. Does anybody know any other 'unusual' methods for dealing with garden problems? I've never really tried it, but I have read that attracting birds into your garden with feeders can by Emma Crawforth

LAWN SCARE!!
Help please - my lawn is being attacked.  Is this bird damage or should I be looking at some kind of treatment for the lawn,  This has happened over the past two days; the lawn is quite dry and so there is plenty of thatch for the birds to grab hold by pinkpeony

I wonder if you can help me identify a self seeded plant which is growing near my bird feeder . It has heart shaped smooth edged leaves with pinkish white mutiple small headed flowers. It grows to around 2ft. and looks abit like valerian but is n by Hoon
