Starlings
Can anyone help, I have started feeding the birds in my garden, I have put in a bird table, with seed hangers and fat balls and a few other bits, I would like to feed all the birds in my garden, accept, the Starlings just seem to empty everything by lucky10carol

It is a useful article. The main problem I have in winter is keeping the water unfrozen. it seems that as soon as I thaw the bird bath, it freezes over again. I tried that stuff to put in the water to inhibit freezing, it was too cold, so didn by rucklidge

Various dead plants
I have a patch in my garden which has seen a number of plants die. The problem seems to have started since I placed a bird bath in the area. There are a number of wood pigeons in the area and they particularly like bathing in this particular bird by Rossett_girl

allotment for 3 years now put a pond on it to bring in the wild life . grow every thing from flowers to fruit and veg .T he sun flowers have been out standing this year which will help to feed the birds threw the winter and last year saw lady bird larver by angelstar958

Garlic
Hi   My garlic have shoots about 3/4 inches long poking through the soil. I have had fleece on them since the first night when, I'm presuming birds, pulled the "seed" bulbs clean out from under the soil.  However, a couple of the shoots look a by Brycey D

Is summer on its way?
I took the elderly mother and sister out for a drive yesterday, and was 'swooped' as I drove along a country lane near St. Austell by one of my favourite birds...yes, a swallow! Can't wait for the good weather to follow....please?! by lilwead

I have a wonderfull huge Bird of Paradise(Estralitzia) plant in my conservatory now in flower with 2 flowers, HOW can I polinate it? really would like some seeds to try to grow more.Someone must have thought out this before...anyone? by jersey jayne

Birdy problems!!!
Couldn't believe my eyes!have a raised bed With shallots and potatoes in but the birds keep Trying to get em out!! Thought I'd solved problem With netting over it but just witnessed three blackbird Youngsters underneath the net what to do!!! Any by sally brighten

Benefits of artificial grass for a garden.
and mowing.Artificial turf saves space I would hate to have it, simply because of the impact it would have on the birds and other wildlife in my garden. I couldnt live without seeing the birds loving my lawn  Reported to moderator. Not the first time this one by Precision Greens
