wild life in the park
,darting  to fro( in full view of people) not afraid at all.I have never watched so close and for ages these little birds,yet here in this crowded town these normally shy birds were thriving.I know we have a lot wildlife in towns but I thought Kingfishers a bit by flowering rose

Sparrowhawk dilemma
We have a problem with a sparrowhawk, think it's a female and it's taking quite a few birds from our garden from the feeders and even the bird table , the latest being a blackbird which it grabbed from the birdtable. I went outside to try and chase by jean riley

I hate the damn things, nothing is keeping their numbers down. they are costantly in my garden. we have no pigions. so they pick off my song birds, i have very tame black birds & a couple of treasured thrush's. I am sick of finding feathers all over by Lone ranger

I would be bowled over at the sight of a sparrowhawk in the garden!! Was honoured by visits from a kestrel in the past.Now am lucky to see birds at all due to the increase in domestic cats and am concerned that the bird feeders are luring them by Jacey26
