New veg grower and advice needed pls

Disappointed with strawberries...

or that the birds eat for me, so I don't really know how often you need to replace them - probably about three years. You do need a lot of plants to get a decent crop. To be fair to them, they do like a bit more sun than they've had this year to get their best by Zoomer44

coverup climber wanted

many times trying to catch birds (thankfully unsuccessfully) and it grows from the bottom again. Its in full sun on the oil tank but equally happy growing up an archway in shade Sollya heterophylla likes sun and only goes about 10ft. Well mannered by debanslow

garden before we started our garden design 3 years ago..

of mature trees, shrubs etc and lots of wildlife and insects. Even birds nesting in Ivy and trees. If I can work out how to post pics I will. It has been hard work over the years doing it on a limited budget and I can say I love my garden. Wonderful by chellie

Mowing the lawn, but not the frogs!

container that I put in my yard about 2 years ago for the birds to bath in and they love it, we get frogs and newts in the garden and the yard so I put some old rocks in the container and around it in the hope that it would attract them. I now have a frog by Tim Burr

Slugs and snails

, as it has a path running past it, I put all my young plants by the pond to harden off and none of them have been nibbled. I'm presuming as the pond is home to frogs and newts and is visited by birds and hedgehogs, any slugs are quickly despatched I'm lucky by Harry Sinclair
