I watched Friday's programme, showing tomato blight, and inviting further comments from viewers on blight. I had potato blight earlier in the year, and cut down all of the foliage, but some of the foliage ended up on the compost heap by mistake by damson2

Box Blight
I have 2 columnular Japanese holly in pots by my front door and I keep getting die back. It looks very similar to box blight but I thought that could only affect box. I have treated for vine weavil and it doesn't seem to have helped but very by cbdesignsolutions

Cherry brown rot blight
My cherry blossom has brown rot blight but can't find treatment and wondered if it would affect my other trees such as apple plum etc. Do I need to chop the cherry tree down or can I salvage it, the brown rot started last year. It thought by Cinders

i have used potato bags to sow my seed potatoes for 4years now and never till this year had problems with blight.what i want to know is is it safe to use the same bags\containers for next years crop or advisable to clean them out. by ellios

Is it blight
The bottoms of my potato hulms have leaves with black patches ansome of gone yellow, the tops of the plants are still in flower and look pretty healthy is this blight and should I cut the hulms off? I don't grow potatoes anymore because by stapler

Greenhouse after tomato blight
Hello. First year of my greenhouse and my tomatoes have blight. It's on quite a few stems and I don't want to spray. Is it best to cut my losses and bin all the tomato plants (I've read infected material shouldn't be composed)? Can anyone by islahc

Potato Blight
Hi All Can anybody recomend a good blight resistant Late potato to grow for storagr over winter. Yet again I have got blight on the tops this year as Monty Don suggested in Gardeners World a couple of weeks ago I cut off the tops and we are eating by Colin Atkinson

with the wettest summer for years i had problems with potato blight and grown my seed potatoes in containers\bags and would it be ok to us the same bags for next years crop or advisable to wash them out before planting. by ellios

We have an outbreak of potato blight at the allotment.  If we spoary with bordeaux mixture now and it rains in a couple of days - wouold we need to spray again after bearing in mind that the mixture might have had time to dry on the plants by then by carol ashton

Box Blight
After just watching Gardeners' World this evening I wanted to say that I have lost several mature box hedges this summer - in the last 4 weeks - blight took them suddenly within a week. Is there any way of protecting them? by Floral Archive
