problem with toms!
Hello i have two tomato plants and both have devloped brown spots on the lower leaves which appear thinner than the green part of the leaf i have never toms before and i am wondering if i have the dreaded blight or leaf burn cheers sorry cant get by foxglove and newts

i doing wrong?? i also hav brown patches coming on all tomato stems, not soggy but surely not good! whats that all about?? you guys always give me good answers, good luck this time  Jo sounds like blight to me.   There is a long discussion here by jo taylor2

ANY GARDENERS IN NORTH CORNWALL. WE NORMALLY PLANT IN FEBRUARY TO ADVOID BLIGHT, BUT I AM WONDERING ABOUT THE WET GROUND THIS YEAR. WE ARE HAVING A DRY MILD SPELL AT THE MOMENT SO I THOUGHT OF WAITING UNTIL ABOUT THE 20TH. ANY IDEAS PLEASE by jad1

Tomato Problems
I've had problems with my Rosada tomato plants this year, both in the greenhouse and in a raised bed in the veg garden. It's either leaf mould or tomato blight. Anyone else had problems this year - is it because of the wet summer??? I would by petehaskell

Can anyone suggest why my young Tomato plants have brownish spots on lower leaves? The actual plant is looking healthy enough. Many thanks  Dark spots with concentric rings can be a early sign of blight.Are the spots dark brown? Any chance of a by CLER

I got my first green house last year and grew tomatoes which unfortunately got blight. It was mentioned that i should have used tap water instead of rain water. Is there a possibility this disease will carry through into this year if I grow a by trigger20

room for it and wonder if it can be topped up and reused for these crops. i do not have any blight problems todate. There is also the question of cost I grow large amounts and buy lots of bags of compost by bartonr

Had and still have fifteen Buxus down one side of the garden which were three inches high when we got them. They are now three feet by three feet and make a lovely hedge. Just hope Box blight or any other pathogen don't get a hold on them otherwise by Fonzie
